DayMaker Long Range LED Driving Light
The 5" DayMaker Long Range LED Light is a high-performance, round pod light specifically engineered for high-speed off-road racing and long-distance visibility. Known for delivering extreme brightness in a compact footprint, it is a favorite for A-pillar, bumper, and shock tower mounting on UTVs and trucks.
Performance Features
- Extreme Distance Optics: Engineered with a deep-dish reflector that concentrates light into a narrow, high-intensity beam, reaching significantly further than standard LEDs.
- Daylight Color Temperature: Optimized at 5000K–6000K to mimic natural sunlight, reducing eye strain and improving contrast during long night drives.
- High-Efficiency LEDs: Utilizes premium LED chips that deliver maximum candela (beam intensity) while maintaining a low amp draw on your vehicle's battery.
- Ruggedized Housing: Features a die-cast aluminum body with an integrated heat sink to ensure the LEDs stay cool and maintain peak brightness.
- Impact Resistant: Equipped with a thick polycarbonate lens designed to withstand rock chips and harsh trail debris without cracking.
Modular Beam Control
The DayMaker system includes a set of specialized covers that allow you to tune your light output for specific environments:
- Green (Night Vision & Dust): The specific wavelength of green light is easier on the eyes, helping you maintain natural night vision while cutting through heavy trail dust.
- Yellow (Low Visibility): A classic choice for fog, rain, or silt, yellow light reduces "backscatter" (glare) to give you better contrast in poor conditions.
- Black (Protection & Compliance): A rugged, opaque cover designed to protect your lenses from rock chips on the highway and ensure compliance with local accessory lighting regulations.
